Ingredients:

SIZZLING BURGER STEAK

  • 1kg ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped white onions
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 tbsps. fine bread crumbs

  • 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper

MUSHROOM GRAVY

  • 3tbsps. all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup evaporated milk or heavy cream
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pc. beef broth cube
  • 2 tbsps. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps. butter
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsps. butter

YELLOW RICE

  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1-2 tsps. turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp. banana catsup
  • 1-2 tbsps. butter

Bistek Tagalog

Ingredients:

  • 1kg meat pork or beef (sirloin or tenderloin) steak
  • ½ cup calamansi juice
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • paprilka (optional)
  • sliced white onions
  • salt
  • sugar
  • black pepper

Beef Pares

Ingredients:

Set A

  • 2 pieces medium onion, chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 5 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
  • 1 kilogram beef brisket or chuck, cut into cubes
  • 10 cups water
  • Salt, to taste

Set B

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 4 pieces star anise

Set C

  • ½ cup soy sauce

  • Sampaloc Mix Original
  • 1 bunch kangkong
  • 1 medium eggplant, sliced
  • 2 ripe tomato, quartered
  • 3 long green pepper
  • 8 to 10 pieces okra
  • 1 small daikon radish (labanos), sliced
  • 10 pieces snake beans (sitaw), cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 8 to 10 cups water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons patis
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef chuck cubed
  • 1 tablespoon whole peppercorn
  • 2 medium yellow onions wedged
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 sweet corn divided into 4 pieces
  • 4 to 4 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 beef cube
  • 1 large baking potato cubed
  • 1/2 head small cabbage sliced

  • 2 medium carrots sliced
  • 1 large potato sliced into cubes
  • 1 small green bell pepper sliced

  • 1 can 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 5 tablespoons liver spread
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 6 tablespoons cooking oil
